Although every client and project is different, each follows the same process. Below is a breakdown of the design and build process.
Step 1: Consultation
A Coastal Pacific Designer will meet you to gain a clear picture of your objectives, wish list, and the site specifications. A preliminary design will be discussed.
Step 2: Design Proposal
We provide a rough sketch of the design, along with the project timeline. With your approval of the contract, we can move forward with the design development.
Step 3: Final Design Plan
Once we’ve finalized the concepts into a complete design plan, we review it together. We will answer questions and make adjustments to the design as well as material suggestions.
Step 4: Installation Proposal
We provide a detailed quote, timeline and construction details. With your approval we can start making it happen.
Step 5: Construction Planning
We’ll take care of ordering all materials, coordinating any specialty trades and reviewing your site for construction details. Everyone involved is well informed on the plan details to ensure everything goes smoothly.
Step 6: Installation
Our crews begin construction. We maintain regular communication to ensure you are informed on the progress and scheduling details, and we can make sure you’re pleased with our work. Near the end of the installation phase, we do a walk-through to identify any issues and answer any questions.
Step 7: Project Completion
We meet again to complete a final walk-through of the site. During this meeting, we ensure your expectations are adequately met.
